I set my paints up in the shade of my garden and painted these hollyhocks. This is an old fashion flower and one of my favorites. The flowers are all looking great right now and just begging to be painted. Better do it now, before the Texas heat makes its annual visit.

What a nice rendition of the hollyhocks. Its easy to see they are a favorite of yours, simply by the way you painted them. Great canvas choice. The format lends itself beautifully to these tall beauties.
