Fincher' White Front by Sheri Jones

Fincher's White Front by Sheri Jones
7 x 5 oil on canvas
I met a group of plein air painters today in the Historic Ft. Worth Stockyards. This building is home of Fincher's White Front Western Wear and has been in existence since 1907. The original name was White Front Western Wear. The Fincher family bought it in 1967 and has had the doors opened since.
The location turned into a wealth of inspiration and I would love to return soon. There were beautiful buildings, horses, cows, longhorns, goats and lots of cowboys everywhere. This is where the west begins! YeHaw.

What an interesting and fun place to paint. I like the closeup view of the building and how parts of it go off the canvas. Great color combinations.
