I painted this on location Saturday morning at the break of dawn. A storm was brewing and the clouds were moving fast. We had a wonderful display of the morning light but the air was feeling heavy. There was a light mist after we got our painting on. As soon as we loaded the car and headed out it came a downpour. It rained for hours and I was so happy we started early and avoided getting wet!

Out at the crack of dawn painting a lovely sunrise, then going home in the pouring rain (Texas always needs rain). Life is good!!!
