Spring in Texas by Sheri Jones

Spring in Texas by Sheri Jones
16 x 20 oil on canvas
This painting is the demonstration I did at the A.P. Gordon House on Saturday. I used a small field study as my source of  inspiration. This was during my solo show through Tarleton State University's Dora Lee Langdon Center. It runs until March 16, 2011. Exhibit open-Weekdays 9 a - 6 p and Saturday 10 a- 3 p. It's located in a beautiful old house in the quaint town of Granbury and is a great place for a show.  I had a good turnout and I appreciate everyone that stopped by.
This painting is available for purchase. $250.00

Are the flowers really out in Texas now? Spring will arrive? We're still pilled high with snow. Thoughts of spring are happily accepted.

That was inspired from the Whiskey Flats area.
