Cliff Wall at Rough Creek by Sheri Jones

Cliff Wall at Rough Creek by Sheri Jones
14x11 oil on canvas
This was inspired from a trip out to Rough Creek Lodge in Glen Rose. It is a hunting resort on 11,000 acres and always a great place of inspiration.  We went on the opening weekend for hunting and there were gun shots all around. We were in a safe zone, but it is still intimidating with the sound of gunfire all around.  This small creek is the run off from their fishing lake. I painted this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint and is available for purchase.
$150.00

Nice painting, especially produced under "gunfire"! I admire your tenacity in sticking with your craft.
