Red Buds Blooming by Artist of Texas, Sheri Jones

Red Buds Blooming

This was painted on site on Country Road 1004 in Glen Rose yesterday.  When my friend Jill Randall and I took off we had a plan on where we wanted to paint. The creek bed we planned to paint at was dried up, so we went  to plan B. We had no plan B, so we drove around until we found color. It did not take us long to find these beautiful red bud.   These are some of the earliest blooming trees, that mark the start of spring. This is available for purchase. $250.00

It was a beautiful day with the redbuds adding lovely color. But we usually can find a place to paint in the Glen Rose area.
Love you painting which captured the sunny day on a high hill.
