I still have sunflowers growing in the garden and have enjoyed painting them. I just love the bright colors.

I painted this while participating in Last Friday Gallery Night in Granbury. I was painting at Stringfellow's Restaurant by the window. A storm blue in and the clouds got darker and darker. Between that and the romantic light in the restaurant it was a challenge. To top it off the electricity went out. It was time to go but I still managed to paint a bright happy picture.
