My friend Joyce Thomas and I painted at Decordova Dam Park today and were very excited to see visitors.

There were tons of pelicans on the beach when we arrived. They were joined by buzzards, seagulls, Canadian geese and ducks. It turned into a pretty day, but there are wind gust up to 50 miles per hour.  This is available for purchase - $225.00

This was created at Pecan Plantation in Granbury. We were standing on an old bridge that has great views of the Brazos River below.  The early morning started out cloudy, but by the time we got here the sun was out and the temperatures were in the high 60's.  It felt great to be outside painting again.

I painted this yesterday in the studio. I used a field study I created earlier in the year.  We were on the banks of the Brazos River.  I was with my friend Joyce Thomas and we were in her neighborhood of Pecan Plantation.  We go here often and always find something to paint.
