This is the view I see from my patio and I often think I should paint it. I finally set up my easel and did it.  I love living on the water and will explore more of the scenes from my yard and boat dock.  The reflections are always changing with the light and boat traffic.

This was created in the studio and inspired from our trip to Pagosa Springs.  I think the Blanco basin had the best color and dramatic landscape during our time there. We travelled with the Outdoor Painter's Society and drove to all their recommended locations.  We were not disappointed.  It was a wonderful trip and a place I would love to return to.
