I was out scouting for a good painting location when I saw these bright lights. The sun was coming up and at a golden hour. I couldn't resist painting this brightly colored landscape. I have yet to paint here, but got some great photos to work from. I look forward to cooler temperatures and returning to paint at locations like this. Beautiful painting. I've seen several trees that look like they have fall foliage, but I think it's the heat and drought.
