Sun over Blue

This was painted on location in an area outside of Glen Rose, Texas. The bluebonnets were at their peak and just beautiful. We arrived early enough to catch the glow of morning light. It days like this that make me love the plein air process and keeps me coming back. This was painted with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.
