Eye Catcher II by Sheri Jones

Eye Catcher II by Sheri Jones

11 x 14 oil on Raymar canvas panel

This painting was inspired by a photo I took at the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens. I can hike to the gardens from my office and always carry my camera. I was ready when I spotted this combo. This painting was created using a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.

It is available for purchase through Rising Stars Art Gallery, Mineral Wells, Texas

This was inspired from a trip to Bellingrath Gardens in Alamaba a few years ago. We spent a peaceful afternoon chasing butterflies.

I wish someone could tell me what the beautiful flower is. I've tried looking up it up on the inet with no luck.
