Jazzy Garden, New Contemporary Landscape Painting by Sheri Jones

Jazzy Garden

20x16 oil on canvas

Chandor Gardens in Weatherford created my inspiration for this paining. That and a little photo inducement was the start of this creation. I created this scene before, but the color was too dull for this girl.  I jazzed up the color and created a dynamic design.  This is available for purchase. Please email me for more information.

Color Strong Crape Myrtles, New Contemporary Landscape Painting by Sheri Jones

Color Strong Crape Myrtles

9x12 oil on canvas

I was drawn to this row of  crape myrtle trees and spent time observing their colors and shapes.  I love when nature can push the color as much as I like to. The colorful trees are a main stay and can withstand the Texas heat. Making these colorful gems one of my favorite in the local landscape.
