Brazos Motel, New Contemporary Landscape Painting by Sheri Jones

Brazos Motel

24x36 oil on canvas

Sold

The Brazos Motel was a greeting when you drove into Granbury from Hwy 377.  It not longer is there, replaced by a high rise apartment building.  The 52 Chevy truck is my husbands and looked like a natural in front of the old hotel. This sold  thru Your Private Collection Art Gallery on the Historic town square.  Stop by and check it out soon.

Thank you for viewing my art.

Slug Bug, New Contemporary Painting by Sheri Jones

Slug Bug

20x24 oil on canvas

This cute red bug was like a beacon when I saw it in the morning light.  I was on my way to meet a friend and paint in the Glen Rose area. I stopped and gathered reference photos and was on my way.  Painting this old bug brought back fond memories of me zipping around in my VW back in the day.

Block in Bike, New Contemporary Painting by Sheri Jones

Block in Bike

36x36 oil on canvas

This painting is part of my bike series with a twist. I manipulated the photo and went a bit abstract on this one. It was a fun playing with the shapes and colors. This is available for purchase. Please email me if you are interested.

I found this cluster of trees and loved the warm grasses surrounding them. I knew I wanted to capture this on canvas while painting on location in Glen Rose. This is available for purchase at Dutch Art Gallery, Dallas, TX.
