Daybreak Magic by Sheri Jones

40 x 40 oil on gallery wrapped canvas

This painting started out as a study from a painting I did on location. It morphed into it's own painting and I let it happen. It is large and painted with a palette knife with a mind of it own.
It is available for purchase $1,100. Happy New Year and welcome to 2011!!

12 x 9 oil on canvas

This was painted on the Brazos River just outside of Granbury. There are sand bars throughout the river with wonderful design and texture. This is what draws me back to this place every year. It was another wonderful plein air experience.

Hunter Park by Sheri Jones

9 x 12 oil on raymar canvas panel

I painted this plein air from the banks of Lake Granbury this week. This was my 4th painting from this location. I was inspired by the golden cattails and nice fall colors. I found a painting at every turn.

This painting sold through Dutch Art Gallery, Dallas, Texas.
