Hot Hollyhocks by Sheri Jones

Hot Hollyhocks by Sheri Jones

36 x 24 oil on canvas

This painting was inspired from a study I did earlier in the year. I am working on some larger pieces to include in a show in Keene, Texas at Southwestern Adventist University. The show is scheduled for late March and I will post more information closer to the date. I painted this with a large palette knife and lots of paint. I really had a lot of fun with this one.

Hot Pink Cactus by Sheri Jones

Hot Pink Cactus by Sheri Jones

16 x20 oil on gallery wrapped canvas

I worked this up from a photo and was inspired by the hot pink in the cactus. They are from the dessert and turn beautiful colors in the hot sun. This was created with a palette knife and has lots of texture. This painting is available for purchase through Rising Stars Art Gallery, Mineral Wells, Texas
