Lily by Artist of Texas, Sheri Jones

Lily

6x8 oil on canvas

Sold

This is a small study I created for a larger painting I want to paint.  It is a good practice to work out the design and color.  I often use small studies to create larger pieces.  This was created with a palette knife and loads of paint. Sold at Archie's Gardenland in Ft. Worth.

Waking up early has it rewards. One is the incredible sunrises I witness.   This painting was inspired from a combination of photos taken,  I used a palette knife loading the paint on and pushing it around to show texture and design. Sold

54 Chevy Sedan by Artist of Texas, Sheri Jones

54 Chevy Sedan

11x14 oil on canvas

I saw this car at a Good Guys car show and fell in love with the patina paint.  You could tell this beauty has spent a lot of time outside. The faded paint  was fun to recreate on canvas.

This is available for purchase. $300.00

River Grasses by Artist of Texas, Sheri Jones

River Grass

22x28 oil on canvas

I painted this from a field study. I loved the dark green river and eye popping grass. It was a cloudy day and that seemed to make the grass glow against the river.  Painting this in the studio reminded me of what a joy it was to paint on the river. This is available for purchase. $600.00

Fun Spring Color by Artist of Texas Sheri Jones

Fun Spring Color

16x20 oil on ray mar canvas panel

I created this from a small painting I did in the field. The drought was not easy on the blue bonnets that year.  We found one place where they were actually blooming. The wild grass and brush had hints of fall colors.  I loved the color combo and ramped it up a bit with this one. Sold

Water Lilies by Artist of Texas, Sheri Jones

Water Lilies
