I used a small 8x10 study to recreate this larger version. The original was inspired from a photo my friend Jill took in our neighborhood. It had such rich colors, I couldn't resist painting it. It was painted with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.

I love what you did with this field. It captures that glow of sun on the dried grasses and red foliage. Lovely fall painting.
