Day Moon by Sheri Jones8 x 10 oil on Raymar canvas panel
This was painted on the banks of the Paluxy River back in November. We had access to private property and enjoyed every minute of it. This was about 11:00 and I was amazed the moon was still out. I painted this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.

Wonderful painting! It is weird how certain times of year, the moon appears to be larger than others. I know it's an illusion, but it's still cool.
