Flat Rock Stream by Sheri Jones12 x 12 oil on gallery wrapped canvas
I painted this in the Paluxy area just outside of Granbury. This section of the road is part of one big flat rock. This makes it easy to work out of the back of your car and not be in danger of passing cars. You can drive up and park anywhere.
I like how this stream leads the eye to the distance hills and brightly colored trees. The colorful trees are fading fast and I was happy to be outside painting them. This was painted with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.
