I painted this on location in the Lake Baptist Church parking lot. It has great views and outstanding color this time of the year. We are fortunate to have perfect plein air painting weather this late in the year. I wanted to show how bright red the sumac bushes appeared in the light of the afternoon sun.

Love the red Sumac. It does brighten up the landscape and you have painted it so well with the contrasting blue/grays.
