Sunny Geraniums
14x11 oil on canvas
This was inspired by a photo taken in Pienza, Italy. It was on our last day and we were given free time to wander and shop. I found these bright red flowers in the courtyard of an old hotel. I was attracted to the contrast between the old stone work and the shadowed courtyard. It made the flowers pop. I painted this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint. This is available for purchase. $300.00

This is a lovely contrast of century old stones and the seasonal color of red geraniums.
Your wonderful color harmony and texture brings it all together.
