Along the Banks
10x8 oil on canvas
I painted this is the studio after painting plein air one fall morning. My artist friend, Jill Randall and I took a drive in search of good painting locations and found this one. The only problem was a couple local guard dogs. They ran us down the road, but not before we snapped a few pictures. I painted this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.
This is available for purchase. $200.00

You captured the colors and textures of this creek, regardless of the perils that sometimes come with Plein Air painting. The black dog was big and determined, glad we were in the car. Jill
