Poppy Garden by Sheri Jones

Poppy Garden by Sheri Jones

24 x 20 oil on canvas

This was inspired from a photo I took while painting at the garden center in Fredricksburg. The bright red color vibrating against the green is what attract me to poppies. It's always fun to visit these bright happy fields. This was created using a palette knife with thick and colorful paint.
This painting is available for purchase.

Chantilly's Garden by Sheri Jones

Chantilly's Garden by Sheri Jones

9 x 12 oil on canvas

This painting was created in the Garden at Chantilly Lace Bed and Breakfast in Johnson City. They were one of the participating lavender farms in the festival and paint out. You could tell they were both very creative. Their garden and home are beautiful and well cared for. They serve a pretty hardy breakfast too.
