Getting outside painting in the warmer weather is so refreshing. Spring is upon us with Winter approaching. Spring starts tomorrow and they are calling for snow in North Texas. Go figure, just when I'm geared up for the great outdoors.
This was painted with lots of paint applied with a pallet knife.

11 x 14 oil on canvas panel This painting was inspired from a painting trip to the Wildflower Seed Farm. I created this from a smaller version. The flowers were beautiful, but I really enjoyed painting the abstract design of the water lily pads and water.
