Sunflower Field by Sheri Jones

Sunflower field

30x24 oil on canvas

This was inspired from a small field study. I painted here during Paint Historic Waxahachie and was so impressed I took my husband back. We spent a couple of hours here painting and taking photos.

This was painted with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint. It is available for purchase thru Dutch Art Gallery, Dallas, Texas

Lazy Sunflowers by Sheri Jones

Lazy Sunflowers by Sheri Jones

4 x 6 oil on canvas

These lazy sunflowers were taking a break from the Texas heat and soaking up the air conditioner. I was not helping to extend their life by keeping them out of water. I was forced to paint them really fast. Zoom zoom.

Copper and Gold by Sheri Jones

Copper and Gold by Sheri Jones

10 x 10 oil on canvas

This is the second time I painted this copper tea pitcher with the sunflowers. I thought I was through with it and set it aside. The light from the french doors cast a nice reflection on the teapot and I knew I had to paint it again.

Available through Rising Star Art Gallery, Mineral Wells, Texas
