Wild Delpheniums by Sheri Jones

11 x 14 oil on canvasThis painting was inspired from photos I took while visiting the Jackson Hole area last year. It was summer time and the wildflowers were in full bloom. I was impressed with the grandeur of the Grand Tetons and surrounding area. The flowers were an added treat for the eyes. This is painted with a pallet knife and lots of paint.

I like the way the flowers stand out with the texture of the pallet knife. The background makes a soft cushion of lovely greens.
A lovely painting.
