Poppy Field by Sheri Jones8x10 oil on canvas
This was inspired from a photo I took in the Fredricksburg area one spring afternoon. This was a field of wild poppies and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was such a treat to find this natural garden in the middle of the country. I created this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.
