16 x 20 oil on canvas
This painting was inspired from a trip to Willow City Loop last spring. This is a rural area in the Texas Hill Country. We were taking roads less travelled and enjoyed discovering this backroad creek. This 22 mile loop will take you on one of the most beautiful areas in Texas. When blue bonnets are at their prime this is a must see. I created this with a palette knife.
This painting is available for purchase.

This is a charming painting. Love the bluebonnets in foreground.
Nice distance.

I believe I've seen this very spot on the trail. You have captured the scene so well, I love the water and how cool it makes the painting.
I remember this spot from my trips to view the fragrant bluebonnets. You have captured the "feel" of the secluded creek. I love the coolness of the water.
Beautiful comments Pam. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for the kind comments Jill.
